What is your professional area(s) of interest?
"I focus on using the person-centered approach to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, personal growth, and issues related to adolescence. The person-centered approach emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. It creates a non-judgmental, supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and challenges. I believe that each person has the ability to grow and find their own solutions when given the right support. This approach aligns with my passion for helping clients, especially teens, discover their true worth and love their authentic selves."
What causes are you passionate about?
"I am passionate about empowering female teens to discover their true worth, and helping people learn to love their authentic selves."
What is one interesting fact about you?
"I’ve been proudly serving in the Florida Army National Guard for over 15 years."
What drew you to this profession?
"My passion for counseling began in high school after taking a psychology class. I was immediately drawn to understanding people’s experiences and what could be done to help them live better lives. While I initially explored criminology and sociology, I kept coming back to the importance of the person, their emotions, struggles, and potential for growth. I felt a strong calling to make a difference by helping people work through their challenges and learn to love their authentic selves. What I love most about this profession is witnessing the transformation in clients when they realize their own worth and capacity for change. There’s nothing more rewarding than empowering someone to embrace who they are and live a fulfilling life."
What makes you unique?
"I have a natural curiosity and deep interest in understanding people’s stories. I approach each client with an open mind, genuinely wanting to learn who they are and what has shaped their experiences. Professionally, my blend of personal life experiences, including my military service and cultural background, brings a unique perspective to my work. These experiences allow me to relate to clients from various walks of life and provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for growth and healing."
What is something you are working toward?
"I am working on completing another half-marathon!"

"You can’t pour from an empty glass."
