6 Simple Steps For Your First Appointment

As our practice has become all-digital, we are happy to provide you with a streamlined,
online way to complete all the usual paperwork. Please read the instructions carefully.

STEP ONE

Fill out the Appointment Request Form or give us a call at 407-450-5985!

STEP TWO

If you did not receive an email, or if your link expired, please email frontdesk@ahhcounseling.com.

STEP THREE

Our Intake Coordinator will reach out to you for any clarifications, and then will assign you to the appropriate therapist. Our Intake Specialist will verify your benefits and what your patient responsibility will likely be. At the same time, our clinical staff reviews your request to confirm that our practice is the right fit for you.

STEP FOUR

You will receive a call from your therapist to schedule an initial appointment, after which you will receive an email confirmation of the appointment.

STEP FIVE

Follow the link in the confirmation email to login to your portal, complete the Primary Treatment Consent/Card Authorization Forms, and place your card on file.

STEP SIX

Once your forms are done, you are clear to have your initial consultation with your therapist.
Please read the details about how our billing process works.

Your card on file will now be charged your expected copay shortly after each visit, as well as any coinsurance or deductible balance remaining after your insurance processes your claims. If you have multiple children or are a couple you will receive an email invitation to create an account for each person. You will need to provide a unique username for each account/child. Please follow the instructions and activate each account prior to the initial session.  Once the accounts are complete our staff can link them for your convenience. To do so please email this request to frontdesk@ahhcounseling.com. After accounts are linked you will be able to access all profiles using a single login.

A Helping Hand Counseling Center exists to significantly improve the mental health and well-being of all members of the community through counseling, education, support and advocacy.
