Matilde Aybar - Marriage & Family Therapist - Registered Intern

I am a counselor, family and couples therapist, specializing in conflict management both in the family environment and in diverse groups, grief management, and the different types of emotional dependencies.

I have a Doctorate in Pastoral Psychology and International Chaplaincy from Professional Christian University in Kissimmee, FL; I earned a Master of Education with a concentration in counseling and guidance from the Ana G. Méndez University, Turabo University in Orlando, FL.  And I am a Systems Engineer, graduated in the Dominican Republic.

My love to follow the cause of Christ through love of the neighbor has brought me to where I am now, seeking through training, continuous learning and hard work in various ways to continue growing in these areas including the behavior of the human being that brings so many satisfactions to the individual and to families.

I have been a lecturer on several occasions and have participated in conferences and activities together with other professionals in the area.  Likewise, I teach at Professional Christian University.

A Helping Hand Counseling Center exists to significantly improve the mental health and well-being of all members of the community through counseling, education, support and advocacy.
