Here at A Helping Hand Counseling Center we have a passion to help as many people as possible. Because of this passion we felt led to open our non-profit, Helping Hand Community Counseling (HHCC), which allows us to better serve our community! Many of the families we work with are blended, multigenerational, dual household, foster/adopted, etc., which create multiple types of insurance within the family and perhaps even contains a few members who have no insurance.
Through HHCC we are able to provide wrap-around services to all parts of a family. Our non-profit services also extend to any individuals who have similar issues with insurance! Thanks to this we are able to truly help as many people in our community as possible and provide them with the help and care they are seeking.
One of the ways HHCC is able to make this a reality is through the utilization of a sliding scale. This allows us to give you a significantly reduced price for services, dependent on your unique circumstances. To utilize this we require proof of income, which helps us to understand your financial situation and provide you with a reduced rate, which can range from a limited number of free sessions to payments per session that fall below our standard self-pay rates.
Our parent company, A Helping Hand Counseling Center (AHHCC) relocated to Saint Cloud in May of 2018 and has provided over seven thousand hours of free and affordable counseling to the residents of Osceola County without outside funding. In 2020 the need to continue meeting the growing area's need for affordable community based counseling led us to develop Helping Hand Community Counseling.
The goal of AHHCC & HHCC is to combine what is typically three different entities within mental health: private practice, Medicaid agencies, and non-profit services. By offering financial aid to our community we are truly able to impact the entire family system, whether it be for family or individual services.
